The ubuntu-latest label will migrate to Ubuntu 26 beginning October 19, 2026. Pin the release workflows to ubuntu-24.04 to avoid relying on the moving label.

release.yml,release-create-pr.yml) show the warning:The v7.x branch already runs on Node 24 actions (checkout v6.0.2, github-script v8.0.0, setup-node v6.2.0), so the Node 20 deprecation warning does not apply here.
